Albemarle County, VA
Keswick
Rolling horse country east of Charlottesville, anchored by Keswick Hall and the Club at Keswick.
Keswick is the quietest of Albemarle's great equestrian regions — a patchwork of boxwood-lined drives, five-board fences, and the kind of estate land that trades by word of mouth. Thirty minutes from downtown Charlottesville, a little closer to the Rivanna, and unmistakably its own place.
Most of what sells here is farms in the 20 to 200 acre range, with the occasional historic manor coming available every few seasons. The Keswick Hunt Club has ridden this country since 1896, and that continuity shapes what buyers want here: open pasture, clean water, mature trees, and the sense that the land has been loved for generations.
We work closely with Keswick landowners and the families who have held property in the region for decades. If you are looking for a farm in this area — whether it is listed or not yet — a conversation here is almost always the right first step.
